• Statement of what constitutes substantial commencement of work

for either side to get on each others nerves. Be friendly, supportive and more importantly be patient. if you have concerns, discuss these with the contractor and move on. Now its time to get together with your contractor and do a walk through inspection just to make sure everything has been completed according to the design specs and contract. If everything is to your liking show your appreciation by offering a letter of recommendation for the contractor to use when they bid on other jobs.
